These archives creating problems for search engines because a page or post have unique address which is crawled in the search engine so different addressees creating different problems for search engines and as well as for blog owner too.
It is because duplicate content is very harmful for blog.

How To Avoid Search Engines From Crawling Archives?

It is very easy for avoiding crawling archives in the search engines.We have to just add an HTML part in blogger template. Just follow simple below steps

• Goto blogger.com
• Then goto template click on EDIT HTML and the below code.

• Just replace the below the code with the above one.

<a rel="archives" class='post-count-link' expr:href='data:i.url'>

• Now save your template and you done it.

Extra Tip

In new interference of blogger is very good option to wont crawl the archive and unnecessary pages in the search engine. 

• Goto your blogger dashboard.
• Click on sitting and then click on others scroll down the page you will see 

So do the following steps as i shown in the below picture.

When you doing all these things just click on save button and you done it.
